With the educational experience “Mountain Farmers”, we want to take you by the hand into the world of farming to share our story, our values, and our choices. You’ll discover how a mountain farm works and have the chance to taste our organic products.
During the tour, we’ll talk about health, the environment, real food, and well-being. You’ll learn where supermarket food really comes from—and we’ll debunk some common myths.
Do you really know the difference between hay milk and noble milk?
And between Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano?
Is the bee die-off as serious as they say?
What does organic mean? And sustainable?
How can we care for our mental and physical well-being in an ever-faster world?
In small groups and entirely outdoors, we’ll take you on a guided visit of our mountain farm to show you all the activities we carry out.
We’ll talk about beekeeping, haymaking, hay milk production, organic certification, the endangered livestock breeds we raise and help preserve, and the cultivation of mountain vegetables and berries; along with curiosities and tips that will help you distinguish one product from another at the supermarket counter.
This experience is not suitable for very young children (ages 0–6), as it is held entirely outdoors and requires attention, listening, and a certain degree of independence.
The tour ends with a lunch featuring a tasting of our cheeses, a main course, and a dessert prepared with what’s available at that moment.
For children aged 3 to 10, the menu includes a plate of pasta with our Grigio Alpina beef ragù and a homemade gelato made with our organic milk.
